I am Patricia Alcaraz (Alicante, 1979). Graduated in Fine Arts from the Universidad Miguel Hernández. My love for art and teaching has been the driving force behind my career. Since 2010, I have participated in multiple cultural events, in town halls of Alicante and its province, schools, institutes, CEFIRES, Universidad de Alicante, libraries, corporate events, meetings, and congresses for publishers such as EDELVIVES and GRUPO ANAYA.
My educational experience over the years has spanned various projects, such as animations to promote reading, and all kinds of workshops on creativity, illustration, and comics, extracurricular activities in different centers, private schools, and libraries, among other workshops.
I am passionate about illustration and I am a facilitator of creative workshops. All the workshops through creative processes aim to fulfill a triple objective: on one hand, to encourage students to read through other languages or communicative processes based on creation, fun, and artistic expression.
Secondly, to offer a space to explore the nature and idiosyncrasies of reading-creative processes, and thirdly, to discard beliefs such as that someone who draws is because they were born with a gift. WE ARE ALL CAPABLE WITH PRACTICE.
